Enrolment Zone

In order for enrolment to occur at Turrun Primary School, careful consideration takes place to ensure our school is able to meet the needs of every enrolled student. Students residing within the Turrun Primary School zone are the priority enrolments each year. Students living outside of the local school zone may be considered however will only be accepted if quality education provision for existing students and future students remains sustainable. The capacity of buildings, classes and staffing capabilities all are factors in enrolment eligibility and acceptance.

If you are not residing in our school zone you will be encouraged to contact your local primary school. Applications are considered using the ‘priority order of placement’ outlined in the Department Placement Policy.

Foundation Enrolments for 2027 Turrun Primary School will be using the Department of Education’s new online enrolment system, for all 2027 Foundation (Prep) enrolment applications. Families wishing to enrol their child in Foundation for 2027 should submit their application online at https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ Enrolments for Foundation (Prep) in 2027 opens on Monday 20th April 2026, and applications are due by Friday 31st July 2026.
