Parent Involvement
At Turrun Primary School, community connection is at the heart of everything we do. Out of School Hours Care
At Turrun Primary School, we are proud to partner with DS Sports, an exceptional out-of-hours school care provider, to offer a safe, engaging, and fun environment for our students before and after school. The program operates from 6:30am to 8:45am and 3:30pm to 6:30pm each school day, ensuring flexibility to support busy families. School Council
At Turrun Primary School, our School Council plays a vital role in shaping the direction and success of our school. Comprised of dedicated parents, staff, and community members, the School Council works collaboratively with school leadership to ensure that decisions reflect the values and needs of our entire school community. Through their guidance and support, we strive to create a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive. We are grateful for the time and commitment of our School Council members as they help us build a strong, connected school community.
Uniform
At Turrun Primary School, we take great pride in our school uniform, which reflects our commitment to unity and a positive school culture. Our uniform provider is PSW, conveniently located at Uniform Group, 1/5 Intrepid Street, Berwick. We have both an academic uniform and a sports uniform, with students wearing the sports uniform on PE and Sport days and the academic uniform on the other school days. Shoes must be all black, including runners, and socks should be plain white, grey, or black. Xuno
At Turrun Primary School, we use the Xuno communication app to keep families connected and informed. Xuno provides a range of features to make communication between school and home seamless, including the ability to send and receive messages/emails, submit permission forms, make payments for excursions and incursions, access academic reports, and notify the school of absences. We will regularly communicate important updates and information through Xuno, ensuring that parents and carers are always in the loop.
